• Qualtrics RelevantID Replacement June 30, 2025   2025-06-17 21:00:03

  On June 11, 2025, Qualtrics notified us that they are making changes to RelevantID. The RelevantID feature is used for detecting duplicate survey respondents in Qualtrics surveys. On June 15, 2025, Qualtrics will deprecate the current 3rd party integration and you may need to make changes to surveys if they currently rely on RelevantID.

  Update June 17, 2025: Qualtrics has changed their timeline and they will now deprecated the RelevantID integration on June 30, 2025.

• New Email Sending Limits Effective May 12, 2025   2025-04-23 16:46:00
  Beginning May 12, 2025, we will enable new default email sending limits on all UW-Madison Microsoft 365 accounts.
• Google Gemini and NotebookLM Now Core Apps   2025-04-18 19:50:26
  Your UW-Madison Google Workspace account has access to the Gemini and NotebookLM (not NotebookLM Plus) apps, which are now core apps and covered by the Google Workspace for Education terms of service.
• New Minimum Zoom Version Requirement Effective April 2, 2025   2025-03-18 14:43:48
  Effective April 2, 2025, the minimum version requirement for the Zoom computer and mobile application will be updated from 6.2.0 to 6.3.0. All UW-Madison Zoom accounts and individuals attending UW-Madison hosted Zoom meetings will be required to use version 6.3.0 or later.
• Google Restricts Access to Non-Core Apps for Users Under 18 Starting March 2025   2025-06-13 15:36:03
  Effective March 2025, Google restricts access to additional services and non-core apps, such as YouTube and Google Analytics, for users under 18. Access will be restored once they turn 18.
